Hispanic Business Owner to be Honored SBA 8(a) Contractor of the Year

Salt Lake City, Utah. The Utah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will like to announce that Don Salazar, President and CEO of CTI Construction, Inc., and a member of its Board of Directors will receive the SBA 8(a) Contractor of the Year Award by the Utah Small Business Administration next Saturday September 10, 2005 during the 4th annual Women and Minority Entrepreneurial Conference to be held at the Hilton Hotel from 8 am to 1 pm. 

Don Salazar is one of Utah’s many successful Hispanic entrepreneurs, and the Utah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is very proud of Don and his business. Don is an example of the many Hispanic entrepreneurs in Utah that continue to make a substantial economic contribution to the state.

In addition to serving in the Board of Directors of the Utah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Don is one of the Founders and serves as the Chair of the Board of the Ogden Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Ogden, Utah. A resident of Riverdale, Utah, he is very active in many community, political, businesses, educational, and philanthropic projects.

During this month when we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, the Utah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce would like to honor Don Salazar because he is an “Orgullo Hispano” (Hispanic Shining Star).
